ND State Tournament Gets Huge Win Against GPR Varsity 7-1

ND State Tournament scores two goals in the first, goes on to win by a wide margin

Leaving their opponents in the dust, ND State Tournament handed a loss to GPR Varsity 7 - 1 at Ralph Engelstad Arena on Saturday. ND State Tournament racked up two straight goals to take the lead in the first period. In the second period, ND State Tournament outscored their opponents by one goal and kept the lead. GPR Varsity were not able to answer back. In the final period ND State Tournament scored three straight goals adding to their overall lead and winning the game.

GPR Varsity's Zach Nelson had just 34 saves on 41 shots to suffer the loss.

ND State Tournament ended their losing streak of two games and improved to a record of 1-2. GPR Varsity finished the game with a record of 15-12.
